Your toolbar is stuck when SMART Notebook is in full screen or transparency mode

Symptoms
When you enter Full Screen or Transparent mode in SMART Notebook collaborative learning software, you see a small toolbar. If you move this toolbar to the very top of the screen, it can get stuck there.
Cause
Solution
Follow the steps below to reset the position of the toolbar.

Caution: Use caution when you open the Windows registry editor. If you incorrectly modify the Windows registry, you can damage your computer’s operating system. Back up your registry before performing the following procedures.

  1. Close SMART Notebook software.
  2. Select Start > Run. Windows registry editor appears.
  3. Type regedit and press ENTER.
  4. Browse to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SMART Technologies\Notebook Software\SMART Notebook.
  5. Right-click Position and select click Delete.
  6. Close the Windows registry editor.
 
Windows 7:
  1. Close SMART Notebook software.
  2. Click Start, type regedit and press ENTER.
  3. Browse to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SMART Technologies\Notebook Software\SMART Notebook.
  4. Right-click Position and select Delete.
  5. Close the Windows registry editor.
 
When you open SMART Notebook software in Full Screen or Transparent mode, the position of the toolbar should now be reset, allowing you to move it.
